Why We Invested in Findr
Have you ever wished you could just give someone a direct line to your brain? In a world where the average knowledge worker has 100+ tabs open and spends 2.5 hours daily searching for information, we're not just losing time – we're losing our digital minds.

The Opportunity
The personal knowledge management landscape is experiencing a paradigm shift. It's no longer just about storage – it's about creating an extension of our minds. While Gen Z is making PowerPoint decks to explain their "lore" to therapists, knowledge workers are drowning in an ocean of scattered information.

The Statistics Speak Volumes:

  • The knowledge management solutions market is valued at $41.10 billion in 2023

  • Expected to reach $94.73 billion by 2030 with a CAGR of 12.67%

  • Users interact with an average of 150+ work applications

  • Over 70% of valuable information gets lost in scattered digital spaces

  • The average knowledge worker wastes 2.5 hours daily searching for information

What's fascinating is that while we've mastered storing information, we're still struggling with the same fundamental human problem – translating the thoughts swirling in our minds into something actionable and retrievable.

Solution
Findr is revolutionizing personal knowledge management by creating what we call a "digital memory bank." Their innovative solution includes:

  • Contextual AI-powered search across all connected platforms

  • Instant saving and organization of tabs, documents, and digital content

  • Integration with major platforms (Gmail, Drive, Notion) with 20 more planned

  • Local hosting for enhanced privacy and security

  • AI-first answer engine that transforms scattered information into actionable insights

Think of it as having an AI companion that has accompanied every step of your digital journey, understanding exactly how you think and where you keep your digital belongings.

Vision
The potential applications are mind-boggling:

Imagine working on a research paper and having your AI companion surface relevant connections from papers you read months ago, or preparing for a meeting and instantly accessing every relevant conversation and document across platforms. For developers, it could mean having your entire technical knowledge base - from GitHub discussions to Stack Overflow solutions - available in context. For marketers, it could mean instantly recalling and connecting campaign inspirations saved across different platforms.

The end goal isn't just about finding information - it's about transforming how we interact with our knowledge. As the line between AI and personal computing continues to blur, Findr is positioning itself at the forefront of this revolution, creating what Google Drive, Dropbox, or Notion should have been in the first place: an AI-native second brain that doesn't just store your knowledge, but helps you think better.

Founder
Nishkarsh Srivastava's journey to founding Findr began at London School of Economics (LSE), where he collaborated with Stanford and Georgia Tech researchers on advancing STEM concept memorization. This research sparked a crucial realization – our brains aren't meant to be filing cabinets; they're meant to solve meaningful problems. This is what led him to dropout of LSE and start building Findr.

Verdict
At Campus Fund, we don't just invest in companies – we invest in the future being built by student entrepreneurs. Findr represents more than a productivity tool; it's the beginning of an era where our digital knowledge truly becomes an extension of our minds.

The future won't just be about managing information; it will be about creating AI companions that understand our context, help us communicate better, and make our digital lives more human. With Findr, we're not just backing a company – we're backing the belief that the future of personal computing should think and grow with us, one saved tab at a time.
